What do you mean my 'having the needle shimmed open'? Is this something other than having it within its normal setting range?
Does this eliminate the need or desire to rejet the carb?
The reason I ask is that by next spring, I hope to get the Supertrapp and still have questions about whether or not to have the carb reworked. My current mechanic thinks it should be modified (beyond just removing the white spacer).
